My name is Evelyn Werner, and I am a graphic designer who enjoys problem-solving, creating seamless user experiences on and off the screen, and connecting with people. My biggest interests in design are packaging, printed materials, brand management, UX, web design, and digital marketing. My goal as a graphic designer is to combine my love for the outdoors, sports, and well-being with design by producing inspiring images, creating minimalistic + thoughtful packaging, or sharing powerful messages with the world.

Professionally, I have worked as a photographer, freelance designer, in-house designer, media and eCommerce coordinator, and marketing team lead. I’ve been lucky to be part of a few big marketing teams, and I have also taken the challenge of being a one-woman marketing team. Both scenarios taught me a lot and have made me a proactive professional who is not afraid of big challenges.

Most of my freelance work consists of designing printed materials, updating logos/packaging/labels/PoP, creating prototypes, photo editing, and creating all kinds of marketing assets for small businesses and non-profits.

As an in-house designer, I have been able to dip my toes in many fun areas like printed materials, UX, web, eCommerce, SEO, product packaging and prototyping, marketing content and strategy, emails/SMS, project management, and being a team lead, among other things. One of the things I enjoy the most about being an in-house designer or being part of a marketing team is the people. I love being part of a team; I really enjoy team dynamic, having lots of minds around to bounce ideas or get feedback, hearing others’ points of view, helping each other out, and the camaraderie. Aside from working closely together with other marketing team members, I am used to collaborating with several other company teams like QC/Regulatory, R&D, customer service, Warehouse, IT, accounting, the CEO, and Owner/President.

I was born and raised in Chile, but my love for the mountains and passion for snowboarding made me realize that I needed to live in a much snowier place. This is why I decided to move to the northern hemisphere,e and that is how I ended up calling Washington my new home. When I was 23, I grabbed a snowboard bag with one hand and my then 2-year-old with the other hand, got us on an airplane north, and just went for it; it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

When I am not in front of a computer, I try to spend most of my time snowboarding, mountain biking, gardening, being a volunteer Firefighter of a tiny town, doing other volunteer work in my community, or going for walks with my family and dogs in the mossy forest near Glacier, Washington.

Hi there!

I believe art and graphic design are a universal language — It transcends cultures, ethnicities, and beliefs — People from all over the world can understand it. Art triggers emotions, and emotions turn into actions; it is up to us, visual communicators, to send the right message to the world.
