Client: Girls on Shred - Washington Chapter

Spending time in the mountains with friends and family is one of my favorite ways to recharge; volunteering my skills is another. For the past few years, I’ve partnered with the Washington chapter of Girls on Shred, supporting its mission to empower youth and marginalized genders—including women, non‑binary, and trans people—through action‑sports skill‑building, equipment sharing, and inclusive community events.

Girls on Shred began in Montana, and—thanks to the drive of Shawna Paoli and a group of friends—the Washington chapter soon followed. Volunteering at the organization’s summer and winter events remains one of the most rewarding things I do.
